Technical Services (UK) exhibits at HANNOVER MESSE, the world’s most important industrial trade fair.

Technical Services (UK) Ltd, a leading authority on thermal management and airflow for fuel cell, EV, and hybrid vehicles and other applications, will exhibit at HANNOVER MESSE from 22nd to 26th April 2024, as part of the exclusive Hydrogen + Fuel Cells EUROPE community in Hall 13 (Stand C81/2) in Hannover.

To provide OEMs with a complete thermal management system and cooling solution for high voltage vehicles and applications, Technical Services is demonstrating its ‘off-the-shelf‘ and bespoke kits for the three vital cooling loops needed for fuel cell, battery, and hybrid vehicles.

The component selection of the fuel cell thermal management system includes high voltage fan(s) and pump(s) and connecting hoses compatible with deionised coolants. The active cooling system kit provides a solution to the global rise in ambient temperatures. The third kit incorporates low-voltage components, including fan(s) for power electronics within the vehicle.

Technical Services’ in-house engineers build each kit to reach optimum flow, pressure, and heat rejection from the cooling system to provide maximum efficiency, durability, and performance. Detailed data about the kits will be available on the stand along with information about Technical Services’ cooling system architecture and design services.

Technical Services will also promote its new in-house climatic test chamber testing facilities, which measure the performance of thermal management systems and cooling loops in a temperature-controlled environment.

Andrew McMahon, Sales and Engineering Director, Technical Services, looks forward to engaging with visitors about their fuel cell projects:

“The change from IC powertrains to EV powertrains has emphasised the importance of thermal management at a system level, rather than cooling at a component level. We look forward to discussing our thermal management systems with visitors as part of the Hydrogen + Fuel Cells EUROPE community in Hall 13.”

HANNOVER MESSE is the world’s leading industrial trade fair, bringing together companies from the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, digital industries, and energy sector to present high-performance sustainable solutions. Technical Services will be one of 4000+ companies acting as an interconnected industrial ecosystem to demonstrate how climate neutrality can be achieved through electrification, digitisation, and automation.

Technical Services is the UK-based European technical partner of US electric pump and fan manufacturer EMP (a Concentric AB company), handling application engineering for OEMs. The company has over 35 years of cooling expertise in IC engines, hybrid, full electric and fuel cell applications.
