Deionising Filter

Deionising (DI) filters are essential for maintaining the efficiency, reliability and safe functionality of thermal management systems. Over time, ions introduced through component wear, fluid degradation or contamination can raise the electrical conductivity of the coolant. In systems with sensitive components like fuel cells, batteries or power electronics high conductivity can lead to reduced performance, trigger fault codes or even system shutdowns. DI filters remove these charged particles, keeping conductivity low and stable to protect critical components, sustain system performance and extend equipment life.

Our DI filters feature a compact, serviceable cartridge that simplifies installation and maintenance. When paired with conductivity monitoring and diagnostic feedback via CAN communication, the system enables predictive maintenance and optimised service intervals – minimising downtime and avoiding costly unplanned shutdowns. The result is a smarter, more reliable cooling system that delivers long-term consistent performance in demanding applications.

Serviceable Cartridge

The DI filter’s serviceable cartridge design makes maintenance quick and straightforward. By eliminating the need to replace the entire unit, it saves time and reduces operational costs. During a scheduled downtime, the cartridge can be swapped out easily which keeps your cooling system performing at its best.

Extend Component life

By continuously removing charged particles, a DI filter protects sensitive components such as fuel cells, batteries and power electronics. This helps extend their service life while maintaining consistent system performance. Cleaner, more stable coolant conditions also reduce the risk of electrical leakage and corrosion, keeping your system operating safely and reliably over the long term.
