Technical Services (UK), attends the Kings Award Reception at Windsor Castle

As a winner of the King’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2025, Technical Services was invited to attend the Kings Award Reception at Windsor Castle on Thursday 12th June 2025.

Joanne Kay, Finance and Operations Director of Technical Services attended the reception and had a fantastic day:

“Being invited to The Kings Award Reception at Windsor Castle felt like a truly special moment for Technical Services. It was warm, sunny, and there was a wonderful atmosphere amongst the cohort of recipients as we made our way through the grounds and into the Great Hall!

It felt like a real privilege to share the event with other people winning awards; some for their innovative ideas, some for sustainability initiatives, some for opportunity through social mobility and some like us, for international trade achievements. It was inspiring to see so many wonderful British companies with a passion for what they do, and I was reminded on multiple occasions of the true grit and determination that running a business requires – often irrespective of its size.

Different people attribute businesses success to range of factors but for me, there are always two fundamentals that must be right; having a great product or solution that truly meets the needs of your customers and having a great team to deliver it.

Like many business leaders, Andrew McMahon our Sales and Engineering Director and I have navigated many different stages of business growth and change over the years, but the Kings Award is something special in terms of recognition for us and our team. A massive well done to all those involved!”
